**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities:**
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Entry Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Verifying customer, order, and item information for accuracy and completeness by reviewing the quote and purchase order and clarifying discrepancies as well as checking catalog numbers for accuracy.
2. Identifying, understanding, and processing appropriately the variances in orders to assure proper information is entered such as various product groupings, reserve production planned line items, consignment, and credit card orders.
3. Maintaining close communication with other departments to solve issues related to pricing and quoting.
4. Entering correct customer shipment and notification requirements and applying proper sales credit and commission payment rates to orders.
5. Reviewing orders for completeness following an order entry checklist and participating in problem-solving teams and special projects as directed by the supervisor to improve processes.
6. Assisting and participating in cross-training for continuous improvement and maintaining a safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree.
2. Minimum 1 year of customer interaction/support experience.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to different work and cultural environments.
