Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for performing high-specialized professional tasks related to analysis, design, validation, implementation, and follow-up of production processes, methods, and workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering changes as dictated by customer or product requirements on existing program lines.
- Lead cross-functional teams to complete engineering changes, new program set-ups, and coordinate engineering changes.
- Collaborate with design groups to ensure feasibility of products and effective transition to manufacture.
- Develop and implement innovative process solutions and proposals for new products or processes.
- Analyze and determine equipment, facilities, and support requirements for new equipment or processes.
- Design complex layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Provide optimization of assembly lines using workflow analysis, time and motion study, ergonomics, and human factors analysis.
- Estimate packaging cost for new products and develop packaging for new products.
- Participate in initiatives focused on process improvement and cost reduction of existing lines.
- Provide analysis of current processes using value stream mapping, data analysis, PFMEA, etc.
- Set production rates through the use of industrial engineering tools such as time studies and line balancing.
- Responsible for the control of ISO procedures as they relate to the Engineering Department.
