The role of a Supply Chain Operations Lead at Marelli involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of the GBS Supply Chain team. This includes managing team members, providing direction and problem-solving support, as well as evaluating performance and tracking results on a monthly basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating individual development plans for team members, tracking and meeting function KPIs, and proposing countermeasures when necessary. They will also develop internal controls to achieve and improve processes' KPIs, define and balance workload, and develop and implement continuous improvement actions.
This role requires a strong understanding of customs and supply chain management related tasks, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a global organization and prioritize tasks effectively.
Beyond the core responsibilities, the Supply Chain Operations Lead will be expected to supervise transportation activities, material planning, and administrative tasks. They will also manage and update GBSAM SCM's administrative files, ensuring accurate and timely information is available.
