Operations Superintendent

Job Summary:

This position will oversee the coordination of all operations supervisors onsite and develop strategies to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with operations supervisors to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, safety, and productivity.
• Collaborate with the HR department to create initiatives to prevent turnover and absenteeism.
• Work closely with the quality and safety departments to identify best practices and implement improvements.
• Support the Operations Manager in managing new requirements from Ford Logistics and Ford Cuautitlan Assembly Plant.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as an operations chief or senior operations supervisor.
• Experience with SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management.
• Assembly line operation experience, with emphasis on automotive or mechanical applications.
• Microsoft Office computer skills and database navigational skills.
• A 4-year degree.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level.
