At Element Fleet Management, we're redefining the fleet management industry to be people-first, then business. We're looking for a talented Data Architect to join our team and help us deliver a superior client experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that aligns with our business processes. This includes designing data models, developing database standards, and managing data warehouses and analytics systems.

As a Data Architect, you'll build and maintain our company's database by identifying structural and installation solutions. You'll also develop, optimize, and oversee our conceptual and logical data systems.

Your duties will include identifying internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine data storage and organizational needs, and creating and maintaining data infrastructure for our employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing database implementation procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Recommending solutions to improve new and existing database systems
  • Designing and implementing effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
  • Determining the requirements for a new database
  • Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines
  • Auditing database regularly to maintain quality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Ability to compile and organize statistical information and present findings to management
  • Confident decision-making and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary databases and software
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
  • Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent English
