About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our cloud computing team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address business problems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Architecture Expertise: Build a strong foundation of knowledge around Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and the cloud ecosystem.
  2. Customer Education: Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to craft and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
  4. Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Requirements
  1. 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience. Technical degree desired; Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  2. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly.
  3. English fluent, written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  2. Experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  3. Working knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud, Elastic Block Storage, and Simple Storage Service.
  4. Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
  5. Experience with solution-selling methodologies.
  6. AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications desired. Other public cloud provider's certifications are also welcome.
