We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at the City of Shakopee, MN. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Review daily demand for buy items and place purchase orders to meet demand.
- Monitor supplier product status and maintain accurate delivery dates.
- Resolve issues related to incorrect quantity receipts or prices.
- Reschedule parts as needed.
- English written and spoken proficiency.
- Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- College degree.
- Previous Oracle experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
