About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Strategist to join our Data, Analytics, and Incubation team within Global Digital & IT at Danfoss GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our Business Intelligence (BI) data and business analytics organizational products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including business teams, development teams, and support functions.
  • Lead with Influence: Lead with influence through ambiguity and maintain a positive attitude, driving strategic approaches that remove impediments to completing work.
  • Product Vision and Prioritization: Develop and communicate product vision, progress, and priorities to stakeholders and the IT Teams, ensuring conceptual integrity and adoption of the product.
  • Business Needs and Pain Points: Understand business needs, pain points, and processes in business management reporting development to ensure usability, effectiveness, and alignment with end-user expectations.
  • Backlog Prioritization: Prioritize backlog items based on business value for the organization with guidance from business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and open feedback with business while offering professional advice on reporting tools and methodologies that focus on documented business needs.
  • Continuous Product Delivery: Ensure continuous product delivery and timely support, driving digital transformation and innovation within the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five plus years of experience working as a product owner or similar role, preferably in a business administration, sales, marketing, operations management, economics, or similar field.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration skills in a global organization with personal, professional, and cultural diversity.
  • Strategic Approach: Proven ability to build a unified product strategy based on facilitating stakeholder collaboration, gaining business trust, and securing buy-in from senior leaders across the organization.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including conflict management, emotional intelligence, and change management techniques that foster a positive culture of continuous improvement.
  • Business Knowledge: Extensive business knowledge, with a preference towards data analytics in the commercial operation management areas.
