As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Ford Motor Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products. You will be responsible for conducting daily reviews of external and internal quality indicators, tracking concerns, and reviewing initial test results/data from all relevant test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily review of external and internal quality indicators.
- Track concerns and review initial test results/data from all relevant test equipment.
- Determine root cause of testing issues and document improvement actions to test equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, with 1-3 years of experience in testing, validation, and process engineering roles in manufacturing, product development, or quality assurance. Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing is required. Experience with PFMEA, DOE (Design of Experiments), and technical documentation is also necessary.
