About the Role
Koch Industries México is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As an OT Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our manufacturing facilities from current and evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate security risks in our industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Implement and maintain security solutions to improve the security posture of our OT environment.
- Monitor OT systems for security breaches or intrusions and respond to security incidents.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to secure our infrastructure and protect our digital assets.
- Document OT security procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Understanding of ICS architectures and components, including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Familiarity with ICS protocols, such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC.
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Awareness of common threats and attack vectors specific to OT environments, including malware, ransomware, and insider threats.
- Understanding of network segmentation and segregation principles.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and techniques specific to OT, including SIEM and anomaly detection systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Dragos OT Security Platform.
- Networking certifications, such as the Cisco CCNA or CCNP.
- Experience as a process control engineer.
- Understanding of risk mitigation strategies and frameworks, including NIST and ISO.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including NERC CIP and IEC 62443.
