We are a dynamic company seeking a skilled Corporate Training Director to lead our training function. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Job Summary:

The Corporate Training Director will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing training programs across all sites. This includes conducting needs analysis studies, formulating training policies and schedules, and selecting instructional procedures or methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs analysis studies to determine training requirements and develop budgets to justify funds requested.
  • Formulate training policies, programs, and schedules based on identified training needs and company production processes.
  • Select appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training.
  • Organize and develop training manuals, reference libraries, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Train assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training, such as new employees' orientation, on-the-job training, sales techniques, health and safety practices, management development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics.
  • Maintain records and prepare statistical reports to monitor training hours and progress of trainees.
  • Coordinate established training courses with technical and professional courses offered by community schools.
  • Screens, tests, counsels, and recommends employees for participation in internal or external educational and training programs.
  • Ongoing participation in continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or human resources.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Experience with manufacturing quality systems training requirements (ISO, IATF) is preferred.
  • Fluent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing and presentation software.
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail.
  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design, and e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data.

Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
