**Your Role**
As a Credit Analyst Associate, you will provide critical support to our Lead Analyst teams in the FIG Banking sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing preliminary credit analysis to support ratings, research, and presentations.
2. Preparing financial spreadsheets, charts, and models to analyze data and financial documents.
3. Writing analytical commentary in accordance with Moody's methodologies.
4. Interpreting and analyzing financial data to identify key factors affecting issue and issuer credit ratings.
5. Supporting credit monitoring and surveillance of issuers by preparing data and initiating deeper credit reviews.
6. Collaborating with other associates, associate analysts, and lead analysts to achieve team goals.
**Requirements**
1. Minimum undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting).
2. Preferably some relevant experience in FIG Banking.
3. Good finance and accounting background, including knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
4. Proficiency in Python programming, Power BI, and Visual Basic for Applications is a plus.
5. Proven verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish.
6. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
