The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team, responsible for closing our month-end accurately and as quickly as possible, producing resulting P&Ls. The ideal candidate will be a data analysis centre of excellence, providing key information to stakeholders in the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the closure of month-end for the parts of the business, ensuring timely completion in line with company deadlines.
  • Prepare account P&Ls and provide them to Finance Business Partners and P&L owners.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and minimize adjusting entries from period-to-period.
  • Help explain trends or variances to the Finance Business Partner responsible for client account.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Finance Professional, ideally qualified or pursuing a recognized accounting designation (CPA, CPC, etc.).
  • Working experience in an accounting environment.
  • Demonstrable examples of performing a succinct and timely month-end process and being able to say how you individually contributed to its success.
  • Quick at picking up new systems knowledge and processes.
  • Ability to present financial numbers succinctly and accurately.
