We're seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer II to join our team at Homebase. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to drive user acquisition
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas to validate assumptions and hypotheses
- Take ownership of growth experiments, measure key metrics, and examine results to inform decision-making with your partners
- Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, incorporating learnings from both successes and failures into future initiatives
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and a bias for action within the team
- 4+ years of iOS Engineering experience
- Advanced understanding in Swift, Swift UI, UIKit, and various common iOS frameworks
- Proficiency in XCode and Apple development tools
- Experience with Objective C considered a big plus
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Familiarity or open to learning Marketing Analytics Platform (ex: Google Analytics 4, Google tag manager, Firebase, or comparables)
- Familiarity or open to learning lifecycle tooling (ex: Iterable, Twilio, or comparables)
- Development of best practices for mobile
- An eye for good design and the ability to implement 'pixel-perfect' UI designs
- Knowledge of Jira, Git, Github, CircleCI, and development using pull requests
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong systematic and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines or equivalent required
- Ability to work from the office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
