We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Interior Systems Division, you will be responsible for driving the application of quality assurance from the supply chain to meet customer requirements.

This role will require you to:

  • Manage supplier quality concerns by actively participating with suppliers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Request and implement problem-solving techniques, such as 8D, and report regularly until closure.
  • Consolidate supplier quality performance indicators for the plant and communicate them to the Plant Quality Manager and Plant Buyer.
  • Schedule incoming inspections for suppliers on probation or with potential risks to the customer.
  • Conduct product or process audits of suppliers as needed.
  • Review new incoming goods or suppliers based on input from the Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) Engineer and the Program Quality Leader (PQL).

Your Profile and Competencies to Succeed

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with various quality system methodologies, including 8D, 3 Legs, 5 Whys, LEAN manufacturing, Pareto analysis, and statistical studies.
  • Certified in Automotive requirements (ISO/IATF, VDA, etc.) preferred.
  • Certified in all AIAG/VDA Core Tools (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, APQP, SPC) preferred.
  • Experienced with OEM customer-specific requirements/standards.
