Job Opportunity

Sidel is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance during and after the warranty period, conduct training, and offer after-sales services to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants, adhering to technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
  • Prepare job progress charts and technical reports for carried-out activities.
  • Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Perform activities in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer rules.
  • Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites.
  • Conduct technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables.
  • Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Fluent level of English is a must.
  • Specialization in automation or aseptic is a plus.
  • Spanish, Italian, and/or French is an advantage.
  • Experience in the beverage industry.
  • 3 years of experience in field activities.
  • Technical subject matter expertise on Automation (B&R, Siemens, Elau & AB).
  • Electrical or Aseptic.
  • Availability to travel up to 90% (including international locations).
  • Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Constantly ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
  • Constantly remaining in stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods.
  • Constantly operating machinery and/or power tools.
  • Constantly operating in small and/or enclosed spaces.
  • Often operating in high temperatures.
  • Often operating in hazardous conditions.
