About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Economics Specialist to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our Real-World Insights (RWI) business in Mexico, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute studies related to health economic modeling, market access strategy, and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with supervision, independently, and/or as part of a project team on defined tasks, including data sourcing, literature searches, data collection, and generation.
  • Contribute to business development and internal initiatives, such as proposal development, training, and presenting materials to colleagues.
  • Assist in project management and client liaison activities, including attending client and external meetings, and presenting research and analyses.
  • Develop prospective or retrospective outcome research protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports.
  • Draft, review, submit, and present abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as pharmacy, pharmaceutical-biological chemistry, economics, or a clinical discipline.
  • Master's degree in health outcomes research or a related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in health outcomes research and/or academic research experience.
  • Strong data analysis skills and thorough understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, including the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills, as well as effective written and oral communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of medical terminology and epidemiological measures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of statistics and advanced English language proficiency.
