About the Role

At Te Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Sourcing Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess supplier capabilities to ensure they can meet our business needs.
  • Work with the assigned SQE to identify and resolve quality issues with targeted suppliers.
  • Teach suppliers how to work with TE TEOA Tools and provide coaching on TE guidelines.
  • Manage supplier relationships through monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support various TE manufacturing sites by focusing on how supplied material impacts business unit strategy.
  • Monitor and communicate key supplier performance metrics.
  • Engage with Sourcing and Development teams to plan and execute Supplier Town Hall meetings.
Requirements
  • Motivated individual with the ability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to take ownership of actions.
  • Clear communication skills to present confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Technical competence to interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials, Supply/Demand Management, and all levels within the Supplier's organization.
  • Fluent in English with reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
  • Proficient in MS-Office and SAP products.
  • Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain fields.
  • Practical Problem Solving, 8D, 5 why, Fishbone experience.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and interact proactively with TE manufacturing site personnel and suppliers.
