Job Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership
- Overall accountability for the deployment and support of systems and platforms for one or more departments.
- Develops and maintains platform architecture in collaboration with the platform vendors, infrastructure architects, and stakeholders.
- Platform Management
- Serves as the technical lead for implementation, upgrade, migration, and decommission projects.
- Establishes platform system administrations process and best practices and works with the support organization to ensure appropriate support is provided.
- Vendor Management
- Reviews vendor feature roadmaps, tracks release plans and features, and advises management on upgrade planning and change management.
- Platform Optimization
- Plans and implements tools, utilities, and reports that help monitor the platform and continuously assess usage and issues.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborates with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Prepares and delivers presentations to management that inform them of issues and opportunities with our systems and platforms.
- Support and Escalation
- Provides expert level support for deployed solutions, interfacing with support staff and helping them to resolve issues within defined SLAs.
Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in technical leadership, platform management, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience demonstrating an increasing level of technical lead responsibility delivering and maintaining systems and platforms at the enterprise level.
- Substantial hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting solutions deployed for clinical business unit.
