About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced contract specialist to join our team as a Global Legal Counsel for our LATAM business unit. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal counsel and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal advice on contract strategy, negotiation, and management.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans in collaboration with local project managers and sales managers.
  • Collaborate with other legal counsels to develop contract standards, templates, and guidelines.
  • Provide training and guidance to our motion businesses in LATAM and across Latin America.
  • Support the resolution of disputes and civil/commercial litigation through external advisors when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of post-qualification experience practicing commercial law.
  • Law degree and passed the bar examination in at least one Latin American country.
  • Cross-training, experience, or admission to practice law across multiple jurisdictions in LATAM and/or elsewhere in the world is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English with strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Portuguese language proficiency at a level sufficient to review contracts and other legal documents is an advantage.
