Quality Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing)
We're looking for a Quality Engineer with a passion for the automotive industry. If you have a C1 English level or above, are legally able to work in Mexico, and open to relocating to the UK after an initial period, we want to hear from you.
About the Role:
Our team covers automotive, bus, truck, agricultural, and industrial vehicles. We're working on technological breakthroughs for the mobility of tomorrow. As a Quality Engineer, you'll work with key engineering teams across Segula Technologies' automotive engineering function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and conduct activities within your area effectively.
- Report deviations from the standard and take appropriate measures and corrective actions.
- Limit losses and conduct internal audits.
- Create qualitative documentation related to the process and product, as well as the quality management system.
- Conduct internal quality trainings and raise quality awareness among colleagues.
- Maintain and operate within IATF 16949 quality system requirements, plus customer-specific requirements.
- Provide information and reports on task implementation.
- Take corrective actions in case of non-compliance with product/process requirements.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in the automotive production sector in a quality department on an engineering position, or 3 years of experience in the quality department in the production sector.
- Engineering degree or technical college degree with 3 years of experience in the automotive production sector in the quality department.
- Training in IATF 16949/SPC/MSA/FMEA/APQP/PPAP.
- Audits - ISO19011 training or 1 year in the automotive production sector (IATF16949, VDA).
Requirements:
- C1 English level or above.
- Legally able to work in Mexico.
- Willingness to relocate to the UK after an initial period.
- Ability to visit multiple sites when necessary.
Additional Information:
During your initial period, you'll work from Mexico in a home office setting. After that, you'll work on-site in Europe. One of the essential skills required is attention to detail. Please read carefully.
