Responsibilities

  • Manage the global accounting close process, including the monthly consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cashflow statement.
  • Oversee the IFRS 15 revenue recognition process in conjunction with the senior revenue accountant.
  • Lead a team of 10-15 people.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with auditors for the global consolidated audit.
  • Manage the global balance sheet reconciliation completion and review process.
  • Ensure error-free accounting entries and assist in preparing accounting policy documentation to enhance internal controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on key business transactions, including debt financing, R&D capitalization, commission reporting, and revenue recognition.
  • Manage the R&D capitalization process with overseas subsidiaries in Israel and China.
  • Drive improvements to accounting systems, procedures, and department goal-setting processes.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in IFRS (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of post-qualified experience, ideally within a Big 4 audit firm or in a senior financial reporting role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and technical accounting topics.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in managing internal controls and compliance monitoring.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken & written.
