Global Cyber Security Network Architect

At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a skilled Global Cyber Security Network Architect to join our global team. This role reports directly into the Global Cyber Security Engineering Manager and is responsible for assisting in the development of network cyber security standards and governance of network implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide governance and guidance to JCI's Network team.
  • Support the validation of security controls across the organization.
  • Evaluate third-party solutions to ensure they adhere to Johnson Controls' security standards.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to business units and Infrastructure IT teams.
  • Ensure accurate and complete status information is provided to management.
  • Contribute technical expertise to security-related standards, technology roadmaps, support requirements, and infrastructure designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies in application security.
  • Maintain adherence to all relevant changes and problem management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer security, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cyber security network operations and engineering, working with teams.
  • Familiarity with security tools, including Tufin, Qualys, and firewall management tools.
  • Experience with security feature assessments and validations for network systems.
  • Knowledge of network security methodologies, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform security/vulnerability reviews of network environments.
  • Understanding of network security architecture, TCP/IP protocol, and remote access security techniques/products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated individual with self-starting, prioritization, multi-tasking, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FISMA, SOX) and NIST standards.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Johnson Controls offers a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
