- Manufacturing Feasibility Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of product design, engineering changes, scope changes, and quality concerns to ensure manufacturing feasibility.
- Process Flow and Plant Layout: Develop and implement process flow and plant layout requirements to optimize production efficiency.
- Product Gaging and Packaging: Review and assess product gaging and packaging strategies to ensure alignment with overall manufacturing strategy.
- Capital Equipment and Tooling: Define and manage capital equipment and tooling requirements, ensuring adherence to program budget.
- Procurement and Acceptance: Project manage the procurement and acceptance of required equipment and tooling.
- Implementation and Training: Facilitate the implementation of production equipment and tooling into the manufacturing facility, including corresponding technical training.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing engineering or a related discipline, is required. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a proven track record of process optimization and supply chain management.
