**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at The St. Regis Kanai Resort Riviera Maya. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
  • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
  • Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
  • Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
  • Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
  • Maintain accurate records of items laundered.

**Requirements**

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification.
