As an Industrial Engineer, you'll play a critical role in achieving this goal by planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within our production sites.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Project team member implementing projects that eliminate waste through the standard Industrial Engineering process
  • Developing time standards for process steps to be used in the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB)
  • Gathering and analyzing Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customers or areas
  • Coordinating layout and facility moves for assigned customers or areas
  • Collecting, analyzing, and reviewing IEDB data to ensure accuracy and compliance with the standard process
  • Monitoring SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations to ensure compliance with standardized system configurations
  • Gathering and/or developing data for quotes
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training engineers within the Industrial Engineering team
  • Supporting and/or maintaining all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities
  • Ensuring the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with global, regional, and site direction
  • Supporting the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement throughout the organization

**Requirements:**

  • Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction
  • Understanding of site facilities, capabilities, and how they tie back to Jabil strategies and direction
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Proven record of accomplishment of successful change management, implementing and managing continuous improvements, and cost reduction programs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills
