Environmental Conservation Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Associate to join our team at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen and store room areas.

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Wash and disinfect areas and equipment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and inspect/pull cleaned items, racking and spraying as needed.
• Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster areas, disposing of glass in designated containers.
• Prioritize tasks, work independently, and follow all company and safety policies, reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• The physical stamina to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
