About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our team as an AWS DevOps Professional. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technical architecture for cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Monitor and log system performance, resource utilization, and application health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Glue, and others through automation and infrastructure management tools.
  • Implement backup and restore procedures for databases like PostgreSQL, including automated backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Optimize system performance and tune infrastructure components for better efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Implement configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency and reliability across environments and automate software deployments.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and high availability architectures to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure smooth deployments.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in AWS services and tools such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Glue, and others.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
