Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our team in our Juriquilla, Queretaro location. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and updating the company's tax database, preparing tax payments and estimates, and completing quarterly and annual tax reports.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and update the company's tax database to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare tax payments and estimates, and track tax returns to ensure timely submission.
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns, and share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements.
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations.
- Follow industry trends and track changes to ensure the company remains compliant and up-to-date.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
- 4-5 years of related experience in accounting is required.
- Previous administrative logistics and service experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of equipment financing, particularly in the transportation industry, would be considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Good time management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking.
- Fluent English is a must.
