Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Adient. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and coordinate with quality engineers to implement corrective actions and improve product quality.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of quality engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their duties.
  • Organize the workload of quality engineers and yourself, working closely with department management to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients and engineers to define acceptance criteria for plant products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain an effective system to monitor and maintain product quality, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Promote problem-solving meetings with departments involved, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including AMS, IATF-16949, and ISO Prevention of PPSC's, as well as CTPAT.
  • Participate in high-performance teams, driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Maintain contact with business units to identify and prevent quality issues in launch programs.
  • Manage corrective actions through customer 8d's and problem reporting, preventing recurrence and escape.
  • Communicate and document client quality measurables for monthly management reports.
