At Alstom, we're committed to delivering exceptional transport solutions that move people and goods efficiently. As a Maintenance Supervisor - Rolling Stock, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the availability of our rolling stock at customer sites.

Purpose of the job:

You'll supervise the maintenance activities of our rolling stock, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and fleet checks. Your technical expertise will be essential in providing support to other maintenance teams, subcontractors, and project team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance activities of the rolling stock, including corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Investigate and repair issues, and report any deviations in the Failure Management database.
  • Support operations by analyzing data using HealthHub, and manage corrective Service Orders in the Maintenance Management System.
  • Apply and enforce Alstom and customer EHS and security rules, and relevant PI processes on customer sites.

Requirements:

  • Certified Technician or Undergraduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
  • Minimum IT knowledge and internal EHS training.
  • Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (mechanical or electrical/electronic), field experience, and EHS knowledge and exposure.

Language proficiency:

Fluent English reading and writing skills, with the ability to follow a technical conversation.

Location:

The position is based at one of the sites in the Yucatán peninsula, with occasional requirements to accompany a driver during test runs or interventions on the Tren Maya line.

Working hours:

Troubleshooting activities are managed by rotation on different shifts, with most corrective jobs undertaken during night shifts.
