We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Uber Freight. This role will be responsible for supervising day-to-day aspects of booking, shipping, tracking, and billing on both import and export shipments while providing excellent customer service to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Transportation, Supply Chain or Logistics and be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with Customers through professional and timely communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise CSRs and Team Leaders to ensure they achieve their goals and meet day-to-day operations' needs.
- Source and coordinate Capacity assignments according to Customer's requirements and needs with Procurement/Capacity team.
- Monitor team's performance and secure automation of rates in TMS.
- Ensure carrier performance meets customer expectations.
- Analyze customer and carrier data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Logistics.
- At least 1 year managing personnel.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel including VLookup, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced English written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
This role is based in-person and includes shift rotation every 2 months. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including parking, referral program, major medical insurance, and meal vouchers.
