About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Label Designer to join our team in Apodaca. As a Label Designer, you will be responsible for creating and editing different kinds of product labeling, including labels for packaging, safety labels, on-product labels, instructional documents, print-on-demand labels, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use computer graphics to create and edit product labeling, including labels for packaging, safety labels, on-product labels, instructional documents, print-on-demand labels, and more.
  • Gather and correlate basic product instructional and labeling information.
  • Perform layout assignments involving vector graphics, bitmap graphics, and multilingual text.
  • Perform routine layout assignments involving product model images, digital photographs, graphics, and text.
  • Work with members of the label team to generate new labeling databases and modify existing ones.
  • Work with members of the label team to generate new and modify existing purchased labels.
  • Create, capture, convert, and refine product models to be utilized as graphic representations of products or procedures.
  • Set up, capture, and refine product and procedure photographs to be utilized as representations in use instructions.
  • Generate documentation and technical specification documents regarding colors, materials, placement, and more.
  • Work with label designers to ensure the brand and product are being well represented.
  • Apply brand identity guidelines and Schneider Electric standards.
  • Support the label team in developing training material, presentations, and process documents.

Requirements

  • Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ability to execute assignments independently.
  • Knowledge of basic technical drawing principles.
  • Knowledge of basic engineering documentation principles.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish).
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-paced working environment.
  • Knowledge of parametric modeling software not required but desirable.
