Job Description:

This role provides environmental support to the site under the guidance of the EHS Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting EHS activities at the location(s)
  • Ensuring documents are available

The position is also responsible for supporting site ISO certifications, reporting of EHS metrics, and conducting activities according to Danfoss Ethics and Values.

Responsibilities:

The EHS Intern will have the following key responsibilities:

  • SUPPORTING A ZERO INCIDENT EHS CULTURE: Work with site leadership and facilities to ensure all key EHS operational controls are in place
  • FACILITATING EHS ENGAGEMENT: Support and facilitate EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish established targets and objectives
  • SUPPORTING EHS PROCESSES: Assist in Gembas, audits, environmental documentation, risk assessment, and operational control implementation
Background & Skills:

We are looking for a qualified individual who meets the following requirements:

  • Active student in Environmental Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge in environmental basis as management systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Basic knowledge of Mexican environmental, health, and safety regulatory laws
  • Sense of urgency
  • Proactive and organized
  • Teamwork player
