We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Baxter Healthcare. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's adherence to international trade regulations and customs laws.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and implement compliance procedures to ensure company-wide adherence to trade regulations.
- Review and analyze changes in Customs and other Government Agencies legislation, international trade operations, new trade agreements, and other programs that may impact Baxter.
- Identify potential trade compliance risks for Baxter and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Support Government and internal audits focused on customs compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with trade regulations and customs laws.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with trade regulations and customs laws.
- Prepare reports to senior management with performance and challenges.
- Participate in and represent Baxter in forums at the regional level.
- University/bachelor's degree.
- 5 years confirmed experience in Trade Compliance, Global Trade, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Import/Export.
- Fluent in English.
- Working knowledge of Import/Export laws and regulations, Customs formalities, FDA/MOH requirements and global application.
- Experience implementing Global Trade software preferred.
