Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Law, or Economics.
  • Early career candidates are encouraged to apply; however, those with experience in international trade and customs are also welcome.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and legislation is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage project work and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Proficient in English at a professional level.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work under guidance and follow directives.
  • Eagerness to learn about Trade Compliance and Risk Management.
  • Soft Skills: Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence.

Your Responsibilities

As a Junior Trade Compliance Analyst, you will support the Trade Compliance and Risk team in various tasks, including:

  • Assisting with the submission of various customs-related requests and authorizations.
  • Ensuring the Customs SharePoint is accurately maintained.
  • Supporting the verification of recordkeeping to ensure completeness.
  • Monitoring and following up on issues with customs brokers and the customs team.
  • Preparing annual letters of entrustment for customs brokers and managing their submission.
  • Assisting in the management of Siemens Energy's certifications and foreign trade initiatives.
  • Creating templates for monthly performance scorecards.
  • Developing and tracking corrective actions for customs brokers.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Customs Broker Management Activities

  • Drafting entrusted letters for Customs Brokers and related entities as needed.
  • Updating the Siemens Energy file for Customs Brokers on an annual basis.
  • Compiling monthly incident summaries for each Customs Broker.
  • Assisting with other Customs Broker Management tasks.
  • Aiding in the modification of the Customs Brokers Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with national and international trade regulations.
  • Adhere to corporate and legal guidelines.
  • Monitor customs brokers' compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for enforcing protocols and policies within the management system.
