**Job Overview**
As a Piping Designer at McDermott, you will play a critical role in the development of key project deliverables, including arrangement and detail FEED, studies, and detail design drawings. You will work closely with other disciplines to ensure clash-free designs and develop material and weight data take-offs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and develop high-quality technical drawings and documents, ensuring clarity and ease of construction.
- Ensure work is in compliance with McDermott's quality assurance and quality control systems and procedures.
- Apply technical skills and knowledge to complete repetitive tasks and manage own time to meet deadlines.
- Prepare piping design deliverables, including 3D model specifications, piping and mechanical equipment scopes, plot plans, and piping arrangement drawings.
- Participate in project reviews, including P&ID reviews and input to RFQs from other disciplines.
- Support the development and preparation of vendor packages, including the review of supplier documents and incorporation of vendor data into Discipline drawings and documents.
- Provide site support, including detail design drawings and assistance with fabrication and construction difficulties.
**Requirements**
- Accredited engineering degree may be required by specific regions.
