About the Role

The Sales Support Assistant provides valuable administrative support to the Higher Education (HE) sales team to help the sales reps sell both courseware and academic texts. In addition, the job holder will be required to work on projects at the direction of the HE Sales Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update information in our customer relationship management system and other sales systems.
  • Support the HE sales representatives in the field.
  • Work with other departments to obtain product information.
  • Attend in-house meetings in the US and UK, and other duties as required.
  • Assist faculty with requests and troubleshooting.
About You

You will be a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Assistant with the following skills, knowledge and qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish—written and oral.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Comfort working databases and researching.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • An understanding of the customer.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
