Job Summary

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services
  • Handle customer incident tickets and/or deploy software in test or production systems
  • Perform testing on test systems or production systems
  • Help manage Oracle standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems
  • Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of major scripting languages (python/bash/java), Linux/Unix systems and commands, databases, applications, tools, networks
  • Experience running large scale customer facing web services
  • Identifies solutions to understanding of load balancing technologies and experience with databases and big data stores, and container technologies
  • Work involves defining and documenting technical architecture of complex and highly scalable products
