We're on a mission to revolutionize the way we feed, clothe, and transport the world's growing population. As a Data Engineer at John Deere, you'll play a critical role in harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and growth.

Main Responsibilities:

• Connect and transform data attributes to fuel analytics initiatives
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support engineering community needs
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data standards and governance
• Analyze data trends, outliers, and quality to inform business decisions
• Communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ years of experience with SQL, Python, or PySpark
• Proficiency in database management and distributed computing
• Experience with file versioning, repository management, and visualization tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills, especially for technical conversations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience with Databricks, advanced modeling, and data pipeline development
• AWS certification or experience in cloud technologies
• Effective communication skills in English for highly technical conversations
• Formal education or certification in Systems Engineering principles
