About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Director to lead our team of project managers in delivering complex projects and programs. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing strategic project opportunities, leading project management roles, and providing functional leadership on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project managers in the full scope of responsibilities for complex or strategic projects or programs.
  • Design and develop strategic project/program opportunities.
  • Lead project/program management roles, including schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource allocation management.
  • Provide functional or business process leadership on complex projects.
  • Lead the design of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Cultivate client relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Define work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to achieve optimum effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and/or business plans for a large department or business unit or division.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of policies and products, and establish future direction for functional policies and programs or products that affect the company as a whole.
  • Identify resource needs with significant influence on approval of identified needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas.
  • Determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships.
  • Ensure the overall success of the function or project within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in the material handling industry.
  • 5 years' of experience in project management.
  • 2-5 years' experience managing matrix or direct reports.
  • Team leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (may include weekends).
