Key Responsibilities- Align with development and purchasing teams to manage raw material shortages and optimize inventory levels.
- Take ownership of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials.
- Transfer customer orders to the right project to avoid overhanging material and minimize stock levels.
- Supervise delivery status of supplying plants and deliveries to customers, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Main interface for one or more customers regarding logistics topics, providing clear and concise communication and solutions.
- Transfer customer orders call-offs and 18-month rolling forecasts to supplying plants, ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Monitor requirements of A-material and allocation material from a capacity point of view, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Adjust call-offs in line with supplying plant requirements and monitor suppliers regarding confirmed delivery times and quantities.
- Coordinate ramp-ups and ramp-downs, conducting material scrapping or return shipments as necessary.
- Receive customer requests and align with other internal functional areas to ensure successful ramp-ups and SOPs.
- Key in logistics data into the applicable IT system and initiate process improvements.
- Create reports for internal and external customers and discuss logistics topics with customers.
- Check released customer internet platforms and portals for new information and maintain data according to instruction.
- Support business unit in discussions with customers and attend negotiations of logistics and consignment contracts.
- Support logistics projects that are clearly defined and timely limited, providing functional instruction to national and international project members.
- Create working instructions that are valid for own area of responsibility and/or cross-functional topics.
- Instruct and control warehouse operations, including goods receipt, repacking, scanning, and shipping.
- Monitor and minimize blocked and obsolete stocks.
- Interface with other functional areas of Continental, including Finance, IT, Sales, and Project Management.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- SAP experience (modules SD, MM, WM).
- Supply chain experience (e.g. warehousing, distribution, customs).
- Proficient in MS-tools.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Availability after business hours and on weekends.
