Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality Android client code solutions that meet product strategy and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, UX/UI designers, quality engineers, and product owners/analysts, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to ensuring team commitments are met on time and with high quality.
- Advocate for the mobile platform within internal and external developer communities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mobile development, including Kotlin, Swift, and 3rd-party libraries.
- Mentor junior to mid-level team members and contribute to group discussions.
- Lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and architects.
- Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams.
- Identify technical obstacles and work with the team to find creative solutions.
- Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of experience building Android applications.
- At least 3 years of experience with Kotlin.
- At least 2 years of people management experience.
