Job Summary:

At Webasto Careers, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Buyer to join our Purchasing team. As an Indirect Buyer, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's success by sourcing and procuring high-quality products and services from our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle relevant purchasing processes within defined groups, in agreement with the Director of Purchasing.
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers.
  • Support the development, coordination, and implementation of purchasing strategies within defined groups.
  • Establish and maintain a supplier base in agreement with the Director of Purchasing.
  • Sourcing in agreement with relevant departments.
  • Optimize the supply chain in cooperation with suppliers and departments/plants (Supply Chain Management).
  • Visit suppliers/plants as necessary.
  • Consistently review and develop the quality and competitiveness of suppliers, and develop corrective actions if needed.
  • Independently conduct market analysis, identify new suppliers.
  • Review supplier master data (conditions, etc.).
  • Internal and external contact for suppliers and departments.

Requirements:

  • Professionals with 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
