Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams of designers to develop user-centered design solutions for complex products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive design innovation and integration of new technologies.
  • Review and evaluate designs for compliance with design guidelines and standards.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure design integrity and usability requirements are met.
  • Provide domain-specific expertise and leadership to cross-organization projects and activities.
  • Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities.
  • Provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and user experience.
  • Improve user experience methods, tools, and intellectual capital to sustain competitive advantage.
  • Work with stakeholders to determine content development needs and solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or a related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of work experience in design principles, human factors engineering, social sciences research, or a related field.
  • Experience in value stream management and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP)
  • Certified in SCALE Agile, SAFE Agile methodologies
