Main Responsibilities

  • Hire and manage engineering firms for the engineering execution of projects above 15 MUSD.
  • Conduct, manage, and coordinate relations between the project's team members, administrative areas staff, and top management.
  • Understand the interests and expectations of key stakeholders, facilitating better communication and alignment throughout the project.
  • Consolidate essential project information and report to CEMEX top management.

Requirements

  • Engineering bachelor's degrees.
  • Master's degrees (desirable).
  • 7+ years of experience with a technical background in project engineering development.
  • Construction project experience will be a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience with full project lifecycle with an understanding of the development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.
  • 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in Language: Spanish and English 100%.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in presentation skills, public speaking, presenting to stakeholders, senior leadership, and top management.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.
  • People management, administrative, and financial skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks involving complex and varying technical problems.
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence, spur change and facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and SharePoint.
  • Basic AutoCAD, 3D model review tools, etc.
