Specialist, Strategic Sourcing – Sourcing Excellence

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Mars, Incorporated And Its Affiliates. As a key member of our Sourcing Excellence Team, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of sub-category buying strategies and optimizing resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and appropriate tools for the market category.
  • Participate as a member of the Sourcing Excellence Team and establish/maintain working relationships with category managers in the region.
  • Support implementation of regional/global contracts and related Service Level Agreements, including securing price, volume rebates, capacity, and service levels.
  • Build sourcing category expertise to provide market and financial insights and inputs to the operating plan.
  • Comply with policies, systems & controls.
  • Communicate business risk & opportunity.
