Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Editorial Project Manager to join our team at Control Risks. As an Editorial Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate production of high-quality written content for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate with research teams to manage due diligence work and ensure multiple reports are completed on time.
  2. Content Editing: Edit, format, and provide critical feedback on reports produced by research teams, adapting content for methodological consistency.
  3. Content Management: Ensure reports are written in a current standard or client-specific template, referencing SharePoint and Knowledge Management channels.
  4. Quality Assurance: Compare risk ratings and report level scope across jurisdictions to ensure consistency and comparability.
  5. Collaboration: Liaise with research teams to ensure online content is regularly reviewed and kept up to date, maintaining records of progress.
  6. Product Development: Contribute to the development of our VANTAGE product, assessing ways to improve readability for online output and reports.
  7. Document Editing: Edit and proof other types of documents, such as marketing material, for grammar, clarity, and style.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience working on multiple editorial projects simultaneously.
  2. Communication: Ability to maintain clear lines of communication on deliverables.
  3. Time Management: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-turnaround environment.
  4. Research Skills: Knowledge of research techniques, databases, and archives, as well as general internet research skills.
Education and Skills
  1. Education: Education to degree level in English or media studies.
  2. Language Skills: Native or equivalent fluency in English and excellent written skills.
  3. Editing Skills: Demonstrated excellence in proofreading and copy editing to house style.
  4. Technical Skills: MS Office proficiency and ability to use editorial software.
