Job Summary
In this role, you will perform financial analysis and reporting for assigned areas under general supervision. You will assist in other financial research projects and analyze business operations to drive strategic decisions.
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner for specified functions, providing expert advice on accounting and finance-related matters.
- Participate in the development of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for assigned components of the P&L and related balance sheet accounts.
- Update the monthly forecast for assigned functions based on business changes and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Support month-end/quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and identification of unusual items.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for various requests, including product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing, and more.
- Lead project work that rotates across multiple financial disciplines, including FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments.
- Develop metrics, scorecards, and reporting for assigned functions and deliver periodic insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the finance team on various wide-projects, leveraging expertise to drive business outcomes.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in general business and finance, with a strong background in P&L management and financial systems.
- Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, adapt to ambiguity, and navigate dynamic business scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers and peers.
- Experience working across multiple departments to complete projects and resolve organizational challenges.
- Familiarity with SAP or other software tools is a plus.
