Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller at Tenneco, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the company's funds, as well as the accounting records of banking operations. You will also be responsible for administration and management of payroll approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access to bank accounts of legal entities Monroe Mexico, Tenneco Mexico, Tenneco Automotive Servicios Mexico, Monroe Holding, and Tenneco International Manufacturing (TIMSA).
- Contact bank account executives and Corporate Treasurer.
- Validate, review, and/or approve payment processes to suppliers, employees, social security contributions, taxes, etc.
- Review accounting records of payment transactions.
- Review bank account sweep records.
- Review bank reconciliations.
- Review and validate the Hedge at the end of each month as well as accounting records.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecast.
- Review, control, and manage operations of legal entities Tenneco Automotive Servicios Mexico (TASM) and Monroe Holding.
- Review reconciliations of balance sheet accounts of TASM and Monroe Holding.
- Administer payroll validation and approval processes for Monroe Mexico, Tenneco Mexico, and TASM entities.
- Administer proper calculation and payment of payroll-related taxes.
- Administer payroll accounting records.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations of payroll-related accounts.
- Administer equipment managing electronic invoicing processes (XMLs) of clients, payroll, and suppliers for legal entities Monroe Mexico, Tenneco Mexico, TASM, and Monroe Holding.
Requirements
- Comply with Environmental, Safety, and Health System objectives and requirements.
- Commit to preventing contamination of internal and external environment of facilities, work safely, and meet customer satisfaction.
- Make reasonable use of natural resources and work for their conservation.
- Responsible for safeguarding physical integrity.
- Comply with ISO 14001 System requirements in current versions.
- Act as Facilitator for training processes related to area and/or Environmental, Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
- Actively participate in compliance with EHS Policy and Objectives.
- All activities required by position must be carried out through strict compliance with procedures and policies established by company.
- Actively participate in emergency preparedness and response programs.
- Stop processes and/or activities that endanger personnel, environment, or facilities.
For Managers, Supervisors, Leaders, and Auditors
- Support decision-making to ensure objectives set in Environment, Safety, and Health area.
- Be responsible for safeguarding physical integrity and that of colleagues, equipment, assigned tools, and providing safe work environment for employees and visitors.
- Be responsible for identifying and making immediate decisions regarding acts and conditions impacting safety and environment, reporting them promptly to Supervisor or EHS department.
- Provide necessary resources for operation of Environmental Management Systems.
Job Profile
- Education: Accountant or similar.
- Language: Advanced English.
- Experience: Experience as Finance Manager at least 5 years.
